Refund Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

This Refund Policy ("Policy") is issued by Netrows Labs SL ("Netrows Labs", "we", "us", or "our") and describes when and how fees paid for Kooperativa.io (the "Services") may be refunded. It forms part of, and is read together with, the Terms of Service.

1. Purpose and relationship to the Terms

This Policy is incorporated into the Terms of Service by reference. The Terms state the general billing rules; this Policy states, more specifically, which fees are refundable and the process for requesting a refund. Where the two documents appear to conflict, the more specific document governs for the particular fee in question.

2. License fee refunds (data lake access)

The flat license fee (the fee for access to the data lake) is refundable if the refund is requested within 14 days of the date of payment. The request must be sent to support@kooperativa.io. Where the request is received within that window and confirmed, Netrows Labs refunds the license fee to the original payment method through our payment processor, Stripe.

3. Metered realtime usage is non-refundable

Usage of the two metered endpoints, /v1/person/realtime and /v1/company/realtime, is non-refundable in all cases. Each call performs an external lookup that is charged whether or not a matching record is found, so the cost is incurred on every call regardless of the outcome. For the same reason, a miss (HTTP 404) is billed the same as a successful lookup, and this usage is never refundable.

4. How to request a refund

Send the request by email to support@kooperativa.io from the workspace owner's email address, and include the workspace name and the date of payment. We review each request and respond within a reasonable time.

5. What a refund covers

A refund covers the flat license fee described in Section 2, and nothing else. In particular:

  • metered realtime usage is never refundable, as described in Section 3;
  • a request received more than 14 days after the date of payment is outside the refund window; and
  • nothing in this Policy limits a statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded, or the pro-rata refund available in the force majeure scenario described in the Terms of Service.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes are notified the same way as changes to the Terms of Service: by email or through a notice on the Site or dashboard.
